Meet the Team Part 2: Kirsty Brown, New H&S Advisor

Updated: Aug 1

We all know the power of human connection and the strength of building long-lasting relationships; so we are continuing our feature of getting to know some of our key members of staff, who each help KVF clients to manage Health & Safety across the UK.

As a team of Advisors with a variety of specialist areas of expertise, KVF offer best practice advice that encompasses legal & moral obligations with the added benefit of our years of experience across a diverse field.

As a small but growing business, the individuals who contribute to the work we do are heavily valued by our management and clients alike, so we hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about them. Next up in our Meet the Team series, is Kirsty Brown, Health & Safety Advisor, who we invited to tell us a little more about herself:

Kirsty Brown (South UK)

"I joined KVF Consultants in September this year as the new Health and Safety Advisor. I already hold a NEBOSH General Certificate and am currently working towards a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, of which three out of the four units I have now completed and passed!

I started my career in health and safety four years ago with Stannah Lift Services. Working within the Service and Repair Division, I worked closely with the various branches of Stannah located around the UK, and with the engineers who were out on site, giving them health and safety advice and support. During my tenure, I took on a leading role for health and safety training which saw me qualify as a Trainer specialising in Manual Handling, Mental Health Awareness and Fire Marshal.

Outside of work, I continue my keen interest in health as a self-confessed fitness fanatic and food connoisseur. My main sport/love is Crossfit and I can often be found training or coaching in my local Crossfit Gym in Salisbury. I enjoy going for long walks/hikes with my partner and our two dogs, Alan and Stanley. When I'm not in the gym or exploring the great outdoors, I like to spend time at home relaxing with my cat, Poppy."

KVF is delighted to have such an experienced professional and Trainer join the team and we are excited to expand our training portfolio next year with Kirsty's expertise. Keep an eye out for her visiting sites completing audits, and please feel free to ask any questions you think Kirsty can assist you with.

Finally, we would like to thank you all for you continued loyalty and support over the past year and to wish you and your families a very Happy Christmas and New Year. We look forward to helping you and your teams over the next year and beyond.

Stay safe, stay positive and please remember that KVF are here to assist you.
